It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dori Krystal - Smalridge, of Novato, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Jay Smalridge; loving mother of Liza Krystal, and Jeanine Krystal - Lorenzo. Grandmother to Jada Krystal, Jessie Hyde, Trip and Paloma Lorenzo; and friend to all that met her.
Dori was born on June 17, 1939, in Buenos Aires, Argentina; moving to San Francisco in 1967. For more than 30 years, she was a vital member of the community, serving the residents of Marin while working for the county as well as her volunteer efforts.
