Jeffrey B. Burstein, Sr., 61, passed away on February 11, 2026 with his wife, Suzette, by his side.
Jeffrey was born in Berkeley, CA to Jack and Leatrice Burstein. Jeffrey grew up in Piedmont, CA alongside his siblings Joel and Julie.
Jeffrey and Suzette met while he was working as a bank teller in Vallejo, CA. They went on to have three sons, James, Jeffrey Jr., and Mika. From then on, everything Jeffrey did was in service of his family. He was a constant protector and a perpetual advocate. Jeffrey's goal in life was to help his wife finish nursing school and see his three sons graduate from college. He accomplished both before his passing.
Jeffrey had a strong empathy for the less fortunate. He often went out of his way to help families with sick and disabled children. He loved vintage cars, classic TV shows, and the music from his youth. He was proud of his Jewish heritage. He showed love to those around him with overwhelming acts of service.
Jeffrey is survived by the legacy he built through his family.
