1968 – 2019

Dan Tzur

Dan Tzur, 50, of Menlo Park, the "best aba ever," was killed in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, September 29. A brilliant software engineer, he earned a PhD in computational neuroscience at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In addition to his professional life as a startup executive and engineering manager, he was a passionate pilot, flight instructor, and adventurer. He was loved by so many, and his family and friends will miss him without limit, much like the skies he loved to fly. The memorial service and funeral will be held at 12:30, Friday, October 4th, at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. Dan is survived by his children Noa and Ron and his partner, Barbara. Memorial donations may be made to Angel Flight West,
