Beverley Anne Denebeim (nee Bellamy) died peacefully on January 25, 2016 at Aegis Corte Madera, one week after her 87th birthday. Beverley was born January 18, 1929, in Tulsa, OK and grew up in Kansas City, MO with her parents, Opal ("Mimi") and Joseph ("Cap") Bellamy and two brothers, Bill and Bruce. She attended Southwest High School, Kansas City and graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. She met her beloved husband of blessed memory, Bruce Kelny Denebeim, at a Delta Gamma sorority picnic in 1950, and they married in 1954. After a short career at Macy's Kansas City, they moved to San Francisco in 1955 and raised five children.

Beverley lived an active and family-centered life filled with community volunteerism, where she enjoyed many close friendships throughout her life. The organizations which benefitted from her considerable talents and energy included the Delta Gamma Alumnae, Homewood Terrace Orphanage, Stanford Children's Hospital Auxiliary, Commodore Sloat School PTA, the Jewish Community Federation, San Francisco Opera Guild, the Merola Opera Program at the San Francisco Opera, the St. Francis Yacht Club, Temple Emanu-el Sisterhood, The Metropolitan Club and the San Francisco Garden Club.

She is survived by her five children: Anne Kelny Denebeim of San Francisco (George Calys), Rabbi Yonason Levi Denebeim of Palm Springs (Sussie), Kirk Daniel Denebeim of Larkspur, Amy Lerner Denebeim Dean of San Rafael (Christopher Dean) and Keith Webster Denebeim of Austin, TX (Darnelle Henderson Little), and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helene Denebeim of Belvedere, Joan Bellamy of Hutchinson, KS, Nelle Bellamy of Los Angeles and her many Denebeim and Bellamy nieces and nephews.

A private family burial and service was held at Home of Peace Cemetery. For those who wish to make a contribution in her memory, please consider a donation to the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford or the San Francisco Opera Guild.
