Mildred (Millie) Adelman (Radin) of San Mateo, California, passed away July 22, 2016 at 88 years young. Millie was the loving wife of the late Edward Adelman and is survived by her children, Mindy Carr (Adelman) (and husband, Roger Carr) and Alan Adelman (and wife, Eda Adelman), her grandchildren, Melanie Khamis (Carr) (and husband, Steve Khamis), Justin Carr, Richard Carr, Cara Stern and Mark Stern, and her two beloved great-grandchildren, Gavin and Maliya Khamis.
Millie was born in Long Island, New York on April 1, 1928 and graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1948. The Adelman family moved from New York to San Mateo, California in 1959. Millie devoted her life to her family and friends, and loved baking and playing Mah Jong.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
